Growing up in the sprawling and historic city of Naples in southern Italy, Cristina’s childhood and early adulthood might be considered by many to be the epitome of a Mediterranean lifestyle: lively family meals, long conversations with friends that went on late into the night, and a slower, more social pace of life.
It was a life dominated by a people and a sense of being part of a shared, traditional community. It’s therefore not all that surprising to find Cristina now working to provide Roehampton Online students around the world with that same sense of community through a slightly less traditional social space.
After setting up her first professional venture, a successful ecommerce business, Cristina discovered a passion for making online connections as she built relationships with clients all over the world. Now working as the Inspirenet Community Manager, she puts that same passion to work every day by helping Roehampton Online students fulfil their goals.
Her role is proactive and varied: she responds to queries for help from students and puts like-minded students in touch with one another; she also sources highly relevant articles and pieces of research to share with students every day.
Cristina sees her role as central to a students’ journey – by providing a safe and positive environment for students to connect with one another and have questions answered, she is helping to build an entire university community, online.
