Before you apply for one of our online masters programmes, we recommend that you read through the following sections to get a better understanding of our admissions criteria and processes.

General admission requirements

  • Education – our applicants are generally required to hold a bachelors degree to apply for admission to a masters programme. However, if you don’t have a bachelors degree, you might also be able to apply based on your professional experience, depending on how long you have worked in relevant positions.
  • Professional experience – our applicants are generally required to hold several years of experience that is relevant to the programme they are applying for.
  • English proficiency – applicants will be required to demonstrate they have a suitable level of spoken and written English before being admitted onto a programme.

How to apply

Step 1: It all starts when you request information: an enrolment advisor will contact you and find out more about your background and motivation to study, as well as how we can help you achieve your goals.

Step 2: Once you’re ready to apply, you’ll need to go through the following steps to complete your application:

  1. Create a profile: this will allow you to log out of the application and come back and complete it without losing your information.
  2. Outline your academic and professional qualifications.
  3. Provide details of your professional experience.
  4. Submit your motivational statement.

Step 3: Once you have submitted your application, your enrolment advisor will review your file and let you know if any additional documentation is required before presenting your case to the board of admissions for an admission decision.

Once you’ve been accepted onto your programme you’ll have access to a wealth of resources designed to help you make the best possible start to your studies.

Preparing for your course

It’s important that you have plenty of time to prepare before starting your studies, which is why we recommend you plan to get your application in early. Once your admission decision is confirmed, you’ll also need to make sure you:

  • Sign and return your Student Agreement. This confirms your intention to study, your contact details and your choice of payment plan. Once you’ve returned this to us, you’ll need the make the first payment for your programme.
  • Complete your Student Readiness Experience. This is an online course that will familiarise you with the classroom, explain how to participate in shared activities and show you how to find the resources you need through a series of quizzes and by submitting a short assignment. Just like your classroom, the Student Readiness Experience is facilitated by a faculty member.
  • Join your Welcome webinar. On your first day of class you will be welcomed to your programme through a live webinar with a faculty member and support staff. You’ll receive top tips and encouragement to help you start your studies on the right foot.
