Dr Tsiligiris is an economist who has been creating, leading and managing transnational higher education partnerships for the last decade. Currently he is the principal of the College of Crete, following closely the current developments and challenges of international higher education. His research has been published in books and journals and presented at international conferences. In 2012 he was included in the top Twitter accounts list of the Institute of International Education.
He has been invited to contribute articles and interviews to local and national media, and he curates the topic “Cross Border Higher Education” on Paper.li and on Scoop.it. Dr Tsiligiris is an academic board member of the assessment committee of EDU – the intergovernmental organisation formed by international treaty to promote quality education and accreditation. He also is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the United Kingdom.
His teaching experience spans more than a decade at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, both online and in traditional settings. He has taught competitive strategy and innovation; strategic management accounting; business analysis and valuation; organisations and business environment; strategic management; and services marketing.
