Mr Rehal is originally from Kenya and currently based in the Philippines. He is associated with the College of Public Health of the University of the Philippines Manila, and the Department of Sociology of the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is a part-time lecturer in the HZB School of International Relations at the Philippine Women’s University in Manila and a senior lecturer on the Diploma/Masters in International Health course at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU). He has been a moderator of the Laureate Online Education MPH programme since January 2009. He has a number of publications in the areas of health social sciences and the sociology of sport, and has vast experience working in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention in low-income countries, notably in sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Sociology at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
