Dr Marcos has worked in academia since 1996 in a variety of roles including professor, course designer, online site manager, Information Technology coordinator, student recruitment leader and coordinator of continuing education training programmes. Since 2010, Dr Marcos has worked as Professor Assistant and Researcher in Online Graduate Programs in the field of Engineering and Technology at Monterrey Institute of Technology. She was named Best Professor Assistant in Online Graduate Programs in both 2012 and 2013. The certifications she holds include Six Sigma Green Belt, project management and supply-chain management. She believes that education and research are the best way to improve as people and organisations, and the best way to make a positive change in the world. Dr Marcos has been faculty at University of Roehampton, London Online since 2014.
