Karla Calumet is a health consultant and project manager who recently helped build and open two hospices in Arizona and Washington State. She specialises in integrating complementary therapies in the continuum of the lifespan as she completes her doctorate as a Health Psychologist. She has recently authored an article in the International Journal of Childbirth Education on stress and pregnancy. She has lectured on hope and its value in combating disease processes. She has taught at several colleges and universities in the United States, and at the University of Liverpool. She joined the faculty of University of Roehampton, London Online in 2014 and teaches on its Master of Public Health (MPH) programme.
